| 2009-10-23 - Coping with Deployments-psychological first aid for military families course |
The American Red Cross developed the Coping With Deployments course to address the stresses faced by families of service members during a deployment. The course is now offered by a volunteer with the Greater Richmond Chapter. Coping With Deployments is available to the family members (including parents and significant others) of Reserve, National Guard and active duty service members. Coping With Deployments can be divided into an adult module (2 1/2 hours) and a children’s module (2 hours).
The course is free and is taught in a confidential environment. If you are interested in Coping With Deployments email Marilyn A. Biggerstaff at Biggerstaffm@usa.redcross.org for more information.
