2009-10-19 - Disaster Teams help 30 displaced fire victims over the weekend

The cold weather season always brings an increase in house fires and already we are realizing a higher volume of activity. Nine of our disaster action team volunteers were kept busy over the weekend as they helped 30 displaced fire victims with aid for lodging, food, clothing and other emergency needs. The fires were in homes located in Goochland, Henrico, Chesterfield and Richmond.
